Dr. Holden is board eligible in both reproductive
endocrinology and obstetrics/gynecology. He is married and has four children. If you were
a fly on the wall in his office, you would often hear him say that if he and his wife were
sitting in the chairs opposite his desk, talking to an infertility specialist, he would be
the one reaching for the kleenex box over and over. His family is the light of his world. Dr. Holden completed his bachelor's of science degree in sociology at Brigham Young University. From there, he and his family moved to College Station, TX for medical school at Texas A&M University. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and then his reproductive endocrinology fellowship at University of California, San Diego. After completing fellowship, Dr. Holden and his family moved to Rockford, Illinois where he became the Director of Reproductive Medicine at Rockford Memorial Hospital. After three years, he opened the Advanced Reproductive Center in Rockford and remains there as the director. Dr. Holden is currently a clinical instructor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford. He previously held the same position at the University of California, San Diego in the Department of Reproductive Medicine. He belongs to the following professional societies: American Society of Reproductive Medicine, Society for Advanced Reproductive Technologies, American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, and the American Medical Association. |
